The Canary Islands are a volcanic archipelago lying off the coast of Morocco. Politically and culturally they form part of Spain, and therefore of the European Union. Gran Canaria, one of the largest of the islands, lies to the south at approximately the same latitude as the Bahamas, Miami and Dubai.

Gran Canaria offers a wide range of tourist attractions for all the family: from year-round sunbathing on the beach to stunning nature reserves, golf courses, sailing, health spas, theme parks, culture routes, a vibrant nightlife and attractive duty-free shopping.

The bustling capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, lies amid green, exuberant vegetation in the north of the island, while the rocky landscapes in the interior are ideal for adventure sports. In contrast, the south of the island is dry. The best beaches, and Maspalomas, the island´s main tourist city, lie at the southernmost point in an area made up of different coastal zones. One of the most lively areas is the beach known as Playa del Inglés.

Gran Canaria offers sun and fun, but also safety and comfort. Its climate is stable throughout the year, and visitors are not subject to the inclement weather conditions characteristic of tropical resports. The local currency is the euro, and no special precautions are necessary either before or during your visit. The pervasive atmosphere of safety and tranquility will make your holiday particularly relaxing. The island’s tourism professionals usually speak several languages and are well aware of your expectations, having received European visitors for decades. Come to Gran Canaria, enjoy the services offered by Grupo Bersol. You’re bound to want to repeat the experience!
